Mario Hernandez

Mario Hernandez is a distinguished law enforcement, private security, and military professional with over 40 years of experience. He is an honorably retired police officer with the San Jose Police Department where he worked a variety of special enforcement assignments including patrol, crime prevention, traffic, and mounted unit. Mario has a wide range of security experience specializing in corporate and retail security, special event security, security planning, risk assessment and threat reduction, and executive protection. Mario served as an MP with the U.S. Army National Guard, and prior to that was a member of the U.S. Air Force. Among other skills, he is bi-lingual, teaches as an adjunct college professor, holds both a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and a Juris Doctorate degree, and is currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in music.
