Ralph Morten

Ralph Morten is a security manager with forty years of experience in law enforcement and private security services. Ralph is a former Marine and retired Detective Supervisor from the Los Angeles Police Department, with long term assignments in SWAT and the Bomb Squad.

For the past five years, Ralph has served as a security manager providing physical security assessments, site security, and executive protection for a variety of entertainment, business, and residential accounts.

Ralph served as the Senior Advisor for Counter-Terrorism in the Middle East for Chief William Bratton, working in Iraq, Jordan, and Israel from 2003-2007. He also served as the Counter-IED trainer and senior law enforcement advisor to Marine Corps Regiments and Battalions, Coalition Forces, and indigenous police units. He provided training and guidance during countless foot patrols in Iraq and Afghanistan, while demonstrating the Combat Policing program that he developed, to counter the endless supply of IED’s. Following his retirement from the LAPD, Ralph was tasked as the Senior Advisor for Combat Policing and Tactical Awareness for Marine Corps Generals Mattis, Dunford, Kelly, and Toolan.

Ralph was awarded the LAPD Medal of Valor for his actions during a SWAT operation involving an armed suspect who had wounded two LAPD officers. As a Detective on loan to the 1st Marine Division, Ralph was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his actions during counter-insurgency operations in Anbar Province, Iraq. While serving as the Senior Advisor for the Lockheed Martin Counter-IED Task Force, Ralph received the prestigious Nova Award for Exceptional Service for his actions with Marine Corps infantry units in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
